Just a test article about fashion obsessions
It’s never too early to start planning for the upcoming year. What trends are you going to be following? With so many options to choose from, it can be hard to keep track of everything that’s out there. We’ve put together a list of 12 fashion trends you absolutely need to obsess over this year — and how you can incorporate them into your wardrobe.
1) What are the trends you absolutely need to know about?
It’s important to keep an eye on the industry trends to know what people are talking about and what the latest buzzwords are. You should also look at the latest developments in your own industry and how it’s changing, and make sure to keep track of your competitors.
If you want to build a strong brand, always entertain your client base. It’s a great way to engage them and build a strong connection. It also makes them feel that they can come to you with any problem, and you know exactly what they need, which provides the perfect timing to approach them.
Photoshop decisions have always been influenced by how the world is going. One of the biggest trends around inspiration this year will be the digital trend of collages, which combine products and designs to make something new out of old. There aren’t many classic examples of them, but lots of brands are starting to utilize them, so get ready to explore diverse ways you can make beautiful designs out of everyday items.
It’s easy to use the right colors for any look. You can play around with a variety of palettes to find the perfect one. Favor light colors for day-to-day outfits or add a splash of a darker color for the occasions where you need an edge.
The ages are different, but men and women can always use a fresh outlook these days. The iconic 80s are back for a second go-round, and you can spot many 80s-inspired brands being launched around the world. It also gives you the perfect chance to update your closet in the spirit of the 80s. Beyond the usual colors and patterns, you can include furniture from that period, accessories, shoes, and a variety of clothing that brings the look together.
We will always remember 2020 by how we changed. It will always be a tough year to go through, but at the end of the day, it can make us grow and improve ourselves. Focus on the positives things and embrace your inner self.
2) Why you should obsess over them
It’s crucial to obsess over your customers because they’re the ones who pay your bills and make sure your business is successful. When you obsess over your customers, you’re able to understand how to better serve them and how to make them happy. An easy way to obsess over your customers is to visit them in person and get to know them.If you haven’t considered traveling in the past year because of quarantine or because it seemed like a difficult task to do even before the pandemic, now’s the time to do it. Traveling will allow you to engage with industry leaders and learn about new products, trends, and accessory trends that are out there.
Just because you can’t travel doesn’t mean you can’t engage with your consumers in other ways, like livestreaming workshops, giving virtual workshops, and giving expert tips or demos from brands that are the leaders in their industry.
Even if you don’t have the ability to host an event yourself, there are many ways you can connect with your customers and give them value in the online space. For example, you can purchase courses and supplies from the brands you mention in your live streams. On top of that, you can also shop from their stores and services. All you need to do is find someone who’s doing the same thing as you’re doing and encourage them to collaborate and to set up a joint online shop. At the same time, make sure you’re offering value and offering a service that both of you have a use for.
At the end of the day, it’s your job to create the best experience for your customers — not only do they need to love your products and services, but they also need to become fans of your brand.
Connecting with your customers is just as important as your products and services, and associating with your customers may come easier than you think. For many people, their favorite grocery store happens to be a major retail store chain. Just ask anyone who loves Trader Joe’s or any major grocery chain.
3) How to pull them off
The best way to ‘go viral’ is to be authentic. You need to be honest and genuine in order for your content to resonate with people. If you try to be something you’re not and try to force a viral reaction, it’s going to be obvious and you’re not going to get anywhere.
Air Jordan inspired sneakers started becoming popular around 2008 and to this day, the brand hasn’t missed a beat. Jordan helped to create an instant brand equity and the sneaker was a must-have for any basketball fan.
There is always a new ad campaign every year, but if you’re not already paying attention to the trends, you won’t really catch on either. In 2021, expect to see an incredible variety of ads that focus on different aspects of the brand.
One thing to note is that there will be discrepancies between what’s trending right now and what’s considered ‘antique’ by the brand. It all comes down to value and brand equity — if a sneaker is considered vintage, it will still sell no matter what.
If your brand values the time that it takes to design and develop a new product, that’s fine. Just don’t expect people to buy it right off the bat.
Without conforming to modern taste, appear innovative.
The sneaker industry has been around for a decade now. One of the unique aspects of it is that more often than not, fashion trends come from outside of it.
Therefore, it’s not out of the question for a non-fashion brand to target a new audience and create a groundswell of excitement. Remember to tie it back into your brand.
Another reason for this might be that there’s weak competition. Supply chains are more streamlined with the fast-fashion world allowing brands to release a few limited editions every year.
Only 14 pairs were ever made of the 15-print edition of the Air Jordan 1 that was released back in 2009. Prices for the sneakers ranged from $180 to nearly $500.
How you capitalize on the craze is through collaborations.
4) Where and how to shop for them
If you’re in a hurry, you can buy them on Amazon, but you’ll get the best value for your money if you go to a store and try them on yourself.
1. ARTF
This term, coined by G-Star Raw Materials, is a Japanese construction technique in which traditional patterns are brought out to enhance the final product. It refers to an increase in the number of threads per square inch, which can increase the weight and complexity of a garment while improving its stretch and comfort.
2. POST-PETITE
Vintage and post-pregnancy play a huge role in understanding women’s fashion preferences, and the ideal size is dependent on several factors. For instance, some women feel more confident in smaller sizes, while others prefer a looser fit.
3. FORMER “STUDENTS”
If you have a Masters or PhD, you probably understand the point of wearing a sports bra — it’s literally for keeping your boobs from peeking over your skin. For those of you who graduated four years ago, though, you’re a little bit older than that. You also probably baby-blended your hair. If that’s the case, the bras you wore back in those days were still pretty relevant, as reported by Mashable.
4. PRETZELS AGAIN
If you’ve seen the “Friends” Christmas commercial, you probably remember how Monica Geller’s head looked as she peeked through the bedroom door in her short-shirt and shorts. Now imagine a woman — who represents the majority of women in the United States — wearing the exact same washcloths in her own home. Not cool.
5. fetch, bangs, long swooping hair
Cheerios are obviously not a fashion trend, but they show us a way of presentation that’s still relevant for some women. Your long, often messy hair is a requirement when you’re working in an office where hair gel is available.
5) How to wear them with other pieces in your wardrobe.
A lot of people are afraid of monochromatic outfits because they think it’ll make them look like the guy in the grey flannel suit. There’s nothing wrong with wearing a suit that’s all grey, it’s just that it won’t have much pop.Wear something different. Times are changing and it’s your chance to stand out of the crowd. Go for an off-kilter but still unique color palette. You might end up looking downright fabulous.
People are generally pretty conservative. They like what they see, how it looks, what’s currently trending. When it comes to fashion, however, most people are hoping for the week to pass them by without them thinking too much about what they’re wearing. The fashion week patterns are designed to make you think — breaking the norms and making you question your own wardrobe limitations.
Just because something hasn’t been done before, doesn’t mean it hasn’t been discussed. The fashion consumption patterns established over the years are meant to be constantly updated. Trending items belong in the conversation because they’ve been validated by research and feedback from customers.
Plus, different brands tend to seek different trends. This includes brands who focus on a niche market or niches. Some of my favorites are Ralph Lauren, Timeless, and Toko. What trends are they interested in?
The number of styles has greatly expanded. There are more current fashion trends than ever before because there is more variety to choose from, giving time for every style to blossom. Going out for a night on the town isn’t necessarily about one style, it’s about multiple variations of that same look. Rather than sticking to a classic colour palette, find your style and expand your possibilities.
What’s the infamous shoe diet? There’s definitely a trend to follow. The general rule is you have to have a pair of acceptable (non-creeping) shoes every day to maintain your community.
You also need to look at catered events and events which follow a similar aesthetic.
